It All Started With Diesel
K9 Krunch started with a dog named Diesel.
Diesel was a Chinese Shar-Pei — stubborn, loyal, and complicated in the way Shar-Peis always are. He had health issues that sent his owner Bruce down a rabbit hole most dog owners never think to go down: reading ingredient labels.
What Bruce found there wasn't reassuring. Fillers. Preservatives. Additives buried under names designed to sound like something they weren't. Proteins sourced from overseas processed in facilities with no accountability to the people buying the bags. Products stamped "Made in the USA" that were assembled here but sourced from anywhere.
Diesel deserved better than that. So did every other dog whose owner just hadn't looked closely enough yet.
K9 Krunch was built in his honor

One Ingredient Means Nothing to Hide

Long Eddy, New York
K9 Krunch is based in Long Eddy, a small town in the Catskills of Upstate New York, where Bruce owns a 27-acre property he splits time between with the city.
It's not a coincidence. The goal — from the beginning — has been to run this business out of Long Eddy full time. To build something real in a place that's the opposite of a corporate distribution center. To source from US farms, produce in the US, and stay connected to the land the ingredients come from rather than optimizing every decision for the lowest possible cost.
That's harder. It's also the whole point.
